About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Southern California with an M.A. in Public Relations and Advertising. I have a background in business and communications. I have experience in digital media in multiple capacities including operating social media accounts, content creation, audience engagement, and maintenance.

When I was 13 years old, I created and maintained a fan account for the famous boyband One Direction that gained over 15k followers. Throughout my teenage years, I have also operated similar accounts for popular artists like Shawn Mendes and the YouTube group O2L (Our Second Life).

Through that era in my life, I was able to discover my passion for digital media. I have transferred those skills to my current roles as a social media editor and manager.

My experiences allowed me to create content that tells a story. I specifically want to create, manage and publish this type of content in the music industry. I aspire to have a career in music because I found at a young age that music allows artists to connect to listeners at a deeper, more personable level therefore this is where my passions lie.

With my passion for music, I have been able to pursue music journalism. I have had the opportunity to write my own stories on all aspects of the music industry including concert reviews, award show recaps, artist profiles and more. Publishing my own work in the form of a tweet as a teenager has transformed into publishing my own bylines for Annenberg Media.

My ambition is to merge my love for music, digital media, and journalism, aspiring to become a dedicated storyteller, effective communicator, and creative content creator.
